中国艺术家林小明，1987年林小明大学毕业于华南师范大学美术学院，自幼喜欢绘画，博士学位。林小明师从原中国美术家协会主席、原中央美术学院院长靳尚谊教授，原中央美术学院教授，著名雕塑大师钱绍武，原俄罗斯美术院院士、列宾美术学院教授依格里，林小明曾叩拜著名旅美油画家关则驹门下。
Chinese artist Lin Xiaoming graduated from South China Normal University’s School of Fine Arts in 1987. He has loved painting since childhood and holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration. Lin Xiaoming studied under Jin Shangyi, former chairman of the China Artists Association and president of the Central Academy of Fine Arts; renowned sculptor Qian Shaowu, a former professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts; and Igor, a professor from the Repin Academy of Fine Arts and former member of the Russian Academy of Arts. Lin Xiaoming also apprenticed under the famous American-Chinese oil painter Guan Zeju.
1988年，林小明装饰画《不尽的篝火》发表于海南农垦报，2005年，林小明参加由中央美术学院与俄罗斯列兵美术学院共同组织的全国艺术院校教师高级研修班访问学者，其素描作品《男人体》分别在中国北京和圣彼得堡市素描交流展，得到原中国美术家协会主席靳尚谊和著名雕塑大师钱绍武好评并签名合影。
In 1988, Lin Xiaoming’s decorative painting "Endless Bonfire" was published in the Hainan State Farm News. In 2005, he participated in a national advanced training program for art teachers organized by the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Repin Academy of Fine Arts in Russia. His sketch work "Male Nude" was exhibited at drawing exchange exhibitions in Beijing and St. Petersburg, earning praise from Jin Shangyi and the famous sculptor Qian Shaowu, who also signed their names in a photograph with him.
2008年参加由鲁迅美术学院与俄罗斯列宾美术学院组织油画高级研讨班访问学者，取得优异成绩，得到原中国美术家协会副主席，辽宁省美术家协会主席、原鲁迅美术学院原院长宋雨贵和列宾美术学院叶列梅耶夫工作室著名油画家巴洛克.维塔利.沃维奇教授，马那谢洛夫教授一致好评并签名合影。
In 2008, Lin Xiaoming participated as a visiting scholar in an advanced oil painting seminar organized by the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and the Repin Academy of Fine Arts in Russia. He achieved excellent results and received unanimous praise from Song Yugu, former vice-chairman of the China Artists Association and former president of the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, as well as renowned oil painters Baroque Vitali Vovich and Professor Manashev of the Repin Academy. They also signed a photo with him.
2010年林小明参加在孟加拉国举办的第14届亚洲艺术节及双年展，油画作品《一篇没有完结的作业》、素描作品《背面男人》获优秀作品好评，收入专刊画册，《燕山风貌》被孟加拉驻中国大使孟什.法亚兹.艾哈麦德收藏等优秀作品获得新加坡博物馆和美国友人收藏。
In 2010, Lin Xiaoming participated in the 14th Asian Art Festival and Biennale held in Bangladesh. His oil painting An Unfinished Assignment and sketch Man from Behind received praise as outstanding works and were included in the festival's special edition catalog. His piece Yan Mountain Landscape was collected by the Bangladeshi Ambassador to China, Monsur Fayyaz Ahmed. Additionally, other outstanding works were collected by museums in Singapore and friends from the United States.
2010年参加北京大学私募股权PE高级研修班，成绩优秀取得好评；2015年由中翔华盛拍卖有限公司、中美商会在北京组织的京华茂盛第二届文化高峰论坛暨艺术作品慈善义拍活动，林小明油画作品《见证历史，改变未来》，拍卖成交价人民币300万元，由收藏家珍藏。
In 2010, Lin Xiaoming attended an advanced private equity seminar at Peking University, where he received high praise for his excellent performance. In 2015, at the first cultural summit forum and charity art auction organized by Zhongxiang Huasheng Auction Co., Ltd. and the China-American Chamber of Commerce in Beijing, his oil painting "Witnessing History, Changing the Future" was auctioned for RMB 3 million and collected by an art connoisseur.
2017年林小明被评为国家一级美术师；WWW.qs315.9rg.cn防伪查询；中国国际艺术评估鉴定中心颁发国家一级美术师资质证书（资质证号：MSS014813），2017年林小明被东方艺术天地聘为艺术顾问。
In 2017, Lin Xiaoming was awarded the title of National First-Class Artist by the China International Art Appraisal and Certification Center (Certificate Number: MSS014813). He was also appointed as an art consultant by the Oriental Art World.

In 2021, Lin Xiaoming's oil paintings were exhibited at the New York Art Expo in the United States, where they received positive reviews. In 2022, he joined the Hong Kong Artists Association as a vice-chairman (Certificate Number: 1009098). That same year, his oil painting "Dapeng Morning Light" was featured in the second "Beautiful Bay Area" art invitation exhibition in Hong Kong, where it received high praise and was included in the exhibition catalog.
2022年被日本奈良现代美术展评委，2024年4月林小明参加加拿大现代油画世界巡展加拿大展，油画作品《大鹏晨曦》获得金奖作品；2024年5月林小明油画作品《背篓哈斯姑娘》参加日本奈良市美术馆画展，获得优秀奖，收入专刊画册。
In 2022, Lin Xiaoming was appointed as a judge for the Nara Modern Art Exhibition in Japan. In April 2024, he participated in the Canadian exhibition of the World Tour of Modern Oil Painting, where his work "Dapeng Morning Light" won the gold medal. In May 2024, his painting "Back Basket Has Girl" was exhibited at the Nara City Art Museum in Japan, where it won an Excellence Award and was included in the exhibition catalog.

In July 2024, Lin Xiaoming's oil painting Sunday Spring Outing was featured in the 47th Chuncheon Gangwon Famous Landmarks Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition in South Korea, where it was recognized as an outstanding work and included in the exhibition's special edition catalog. In 2024, his oil painting Daocheng Yading was selected for the "China Cultural Carnival," a large-scale painting and calligraphy event organized by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs and the China Cultural Exchange Promotion Center, as well as for the Louvre Exhibition of Outstanding Works in France. Additionally, his oil painting Street Musician participated in the Picasso International Art Exhibition organized by the Royal Spanish Artists' Association, the Picasso Museum, and the Barcelona Academy of Fine Arts, where it received accolades and coverage from several international media outlets. In 2024, China Culture Press published a catalog of Lin Xiaoming's works titled Lin Xiaoming.

The huge ship at the port, the blending of sea and sky, the transformation of the world—all together, they create a majestic and awe-inspiring image."

In 2009, "Chinese Artists" magazine (Issue Number: ISSN1815-3283, Special Edition 0903) published a special edition dedicated to Lin Xiaoming's art. The preface was written by Wan Jiyuan, Deputy General Manager of China Culture Group Corporation, Director of the China Foreign Culture and Art Exhibition Center, Council Member of the China Artists Association, and National First-Class Artist.

林小明1965年出生于广东惠州，自小爱好绘画，师从关则驹、陈天然、郭绍纲等名家。林先生并不靠画画为生，正因如此，他的创作更为自由性，涉足面十分广泛。他从具象、抽象、波普、装置等各种流派中寻找自我，题材和风格不过是表达内心情感的手段而已。他在不断学习和充实自己，不失时机地参加各种美术高级研修班，他为的提高自己的艺术水平，更好地掌握创作技能。
Lin Xiaoming was born in Huizhou, Guangdong, in 1965. He developed a passion for painting from a young age and studied under masters such as Guan Zeju, Chen Tiannan, and Guo Shaogang. Lin does not rely on painting as a means of livelihood, which allows his creations to be more free-spirited and wide-ranging. He searches for himself through various art styles, including figurative, abstract, pop, and installation art. For him, subject matter and style are merely tools to express his inner emotions. He continuously learns and improves himself by participating in advanced art seminars, with the aim of enhancing his artistic skills and mastering the art of creation.

In 2014, Lin Xiaoming published a large-scale document titled "Republican Elites Going Global" with Wuzhou Communication Publishing House. In this work, he published the paper "Innovation in Business Administration: Ideological and Political Work in New Era Enterprises."
